Band electric heating cables EHC-B

These electric heaters are designed for outer heating of pipelines, material cylinders of moulding machines, extruders, working surfaces of press dies and injection moulding machines.
Electric heater consists of a heating element and a case. Case is made of 12Cr18Ni10T steel.
Heating element is made from 2 or 3 mm diameter heating cable KNMCNH-N. Cable conductor - Cr20Ni80 alloy, cable sheath - stainless steel 12Cr18Ni10T.
For AC or DC main connection electric heaters are equipped on default with current-carrying wires 250 mm long, made of PRKA wire in high-temperature insulation (up to 180°С). Lead length can be increased.

On customer's request electric heater can be equipped with M5 threaded contact bar. At the time of order this request should be specified as version 2

Technical characteristics

Operating and outer surface temperature of electric heater does not exceed 600°С – in running condition under heat removal with natural air convection.

Execution options

Electric heating cables having power greater than 2 kW are equipped with two heating elements.
Electric heating cables with mounting diameter greater than 500 mm have two sections.
